Wait a minute: smelly or smells good??
Smells good ;D. Grannyjanny isn't smelly, well not alway ;) ;D.
smelly...read.. "smells good but strongly so" = powerful fragrance.. ::)
;D ;D ;D
..just thought of something...
"we ladies have been known to put something smelly back of our tabs" ;D
=drop of parfume behind the ear lobes.. ;)
I don't know if this is local dialect or widely used in UK...but just a little sample for GrannieAnnie... ;D
I love roses. GJ looks lovely. My first house we had lovely ones, but they do not do well here so sort of given up. They do well for three or four years and then die.
I supposed that now I have more time I can replace them every few years.
Have you used some of that beneficial fungi stuff that you put in planting hole..umm...rootgrow or something similar...it could be that it is missing from the soil and the roots never get properly going..
