Lovely photos Goodlife, looks as if Brandy has one of those. Shouldn't we meet he mummy?
...oh..hmm...here we are...
[attachment=1].. :-[ ;D
I love photos of dogs sleeping (and just waking up)
Have you had Brandy long?
We've had her 8 yrs..she's 13 though..one of those unwanted pets...and we wanted her..and kept her.. ;D
What a lovely couple ;D. I bet she loves it on the allotment with you.
Normally yes...but when weather is like this, she won't even go through back door.. ::)..and the 'royal highness' has her own bed under the GH staging... ;D..so we can be together even in GH... ::)
:'(..what a way to get day off from work.. ::) :'(
I was literally just going to out of door to go to work when Brandy's time was up..I'm glad I we were there and did manage to take her to vets for the final 'check up'.
I knew she did't have much time left as she was showing all signs of old age coming to an end , but I though we still have her this summer at least..but it wasn't to be.. :'(
She's got now nice resting place under big apple tree..and it's just starting to flower too..beautiful place to be..
I am so sorry, at least you were there, she will have been comforted that you were there. We had to have our cat put down a couple of weeks ago so I know how you are feeling, remember the good bits. We were all with our cat so had the unhappy picture in our minds, so got out all our photos of him to make a montage of happy times, it cheered us all up and put better pictures in our minds :) Thinking of you.
Sorry to hear that Anja. I know you were expecting it soon & I am glad you were with her. You can rest assured that you gave her an exceptionally 'Good life'.
Rest in peace Brandy.
I am so sorry you lost Brandy. Thank God you were with her though as it must have been a comfort for Brandy to have you there. She had a wonderful second chance at a happy life with you. You will always carry her in your heart. Take carexxxx
So sorry to hear you have lost your lovely dog Brandy,
June.
I'm so sorry to hear this Anja. You gave Brandy a lovely life, but I know that's not much comfort at the moment. You will be in my thoughts.
Betty
Thank you all for kind words..
It's been 'funny' old day..I've been cleaning and cleaning and putting all doggy things away for storage until next creature comes our way..it will happen eventually, but as for now I'm not in hurry.
My leaky eyes are starting to dry out now. I think is more about having a chock for the system..she'll be missed but it is better this way as she didn't have particularly pleasant end.
Well..I feel much better once I get some more tomato seeds in propagator.. ::) ;D..good remedy that..
It didn't take time to find new treasure to our family.. ;D
Meet Amber..our 18 months old 'puppy' dog. We've had her since Tuesday. ;D ;D

Another poser. She looks lovely. Congratulatios ;D.
;D You could say she's a chip from the same block... ;D yes..another poser.. ::) ;D
I'm only warming up my camera for the action... ;D
Amber looks lovely! Where did you have her from?
Amber was advertized on pet shop window. Owner couldn't cope with her..
She comes from home where is other dogs and cats..
Terriers can be bit 'difficult' as they demand lot of attention and are very stubborn...but she is not a bit of trouble. I'm actually suprised that she said ''could not cope'' ::)
Amber is very gentle and friendly, gets on with other animals and all people we've met..so far..but she get's "bit" excited by all of it.. ;D
Given few weeks and we've got perfect little girl... ;) She's already starting to learn the art of walking on lead...she was 'house and garden' dog..no walkies :o
We did visit our 'local' dog rescue centre when we started look for new one..but they are just full of 'mussle dogs'..well behaved, nice and all that..but not what we were looking for. OHh..they are sad places to go...you just want to cuddle them all and take them home.. ::)
She looks lovely Anja, I missed the original posts but glad to see this happy ending! :)
I know what you mean about terriers, I have two myself (Borders) They can be difficult and stubborn but they are such characters and once you 'tune into' their way of behaving they are not a problem. :)
I'm glad Amber has found a home with you, it will be a different life for her from now on.
One lucky pup ;D
They can be difficult and stubborn but they are such characters
...aren't they just.. ;D ::)
I can't wait what tricks our girl have in her 'sleeve'.. ;D..she's already come up with few little suprises..pleasant ones. Terries just makes you want to laugh..such a bundle of cheeky charm.. ;D
I've just come across this thread - so sorry about Brandy, but how lovely that you're giving a loving home to Amber.
Alison
Sorry to hear about Brandy but pleased to hear about the arrival of Amber. May she have a long and happy life with you. :D
sorry to hear about Brandy Goodlife
Amber looks a treat! And only 18 months - is she chewing her way round the house and garden?
