I'm looking for websites for unusual seed companies, so no T&M or suttons!
So far I've got:
seeds of Italy
Real seed co
The organic catalogue
kings
tuckers
simpsons
(just window shopping of course!)
I've used a company called seed-sense in the past, they're in Birmingham. Can't find their web site, but i do believe they sell their seeds on Amazon.
Hope this helps. :)
Chiltern seeds
thomas etty (esq) - annoying catalogue
should look at some of the US ones like Baker Creek.......

yes is was going to post Jungle Seeds, hes a decent guy.he sold me some bamboo seeds and i got half of them to germinate.
Apparently, the best way to get bamboo to germinate is to stick the seeds in a pile of kangaroo manure, but its a bit scarce in rural Lincolnshire......
I'd recommend moreveg too- small packets, most only 50p, cheap postage, friendly company and website.

I bought a variety of seeds from them last year, everything from carrots to chillies, all are still germinating well. Their packs of chilli and pepper seeds are amongst the most generous I've found (with the exception of Seeds of Italy). Seedaholic (http://www.seedaholic.com/) sell via eBay and their own online shop; again, I've found their seed germinates well too.
I'm also a fan of Nicky's, Kings (plus their sister company Suffolk herbs (http://www.suffolkherbs.com/)), Jungle, Baker Creek and a few others already mentioned. If you like chillies then the Rainbow seeds (http://www.rainbowchiliseeds.com/) are worth a peek.
I've bought some seeds recently from http://www.pennardplants.com/
£1 per packet, organic and heritage varieties, no minimum order and no postage ;D
What are you actually looking for, there are lots over here that I would safely suggest if I knew what you were efter.

I use Kings seeds as my main supplier, with top ups from T&M of stuff Kings don't sell. Most stuff Kings do sell is available in most other seed companies, but is usually cheaper. Never had Kings down as an unusual seed company. I do agree with Jungle seeds though.
Not sure if this is what you may be looking for but be warned... they are expensive:

Hi I've used Plants of Distinction - http://www.plantsofdistinction.co.uk/ and they have some stuff that isn't listed on other websites. And found them good :)
why not try these
http://www.selectseeds.co.uk/
Thanks all.
I'm beginning to feel I made a mistake asking this. Must lock up my credit card! ;)
Jeannine - I'm looking for unusual herbs (culinary and medicinal), salads, veg (especially heritage varieties and ones which produce attractive plants), and aquilegias (my collection in the new garden is rather pathetic!)
Ohh,,if you are after aquilegias.. www.chilternseeds.co.uk (http://www.chilternseeds.co.uk)... ;)
I just thought maybe some you would find this site interesting..alternative from all those unusual ones..www.tozerseedsdirect.com (http://www.tozerseedsdirect.com)
they are commercial breeders and lot of seed you buy actually comes from them..
..they do "small" packets too and if you want field/ lottie full of same stuff..that's a place to go to..they go acricultural sizes too..with seed not veg ::) ;D
For herbs medicinal and regular try Richters, excellent company and they sell Internationally, super online catalogue with lots if info
