Was well miffed they missed the first of the series. Never lived it down......
Best thing when it came on TV A mate of me muvvers, was a very twee lady who used to regularly do the Mary Whitehouse in reverse and recomment suitable viewing for all.
I convinced me muvver that the above said was one which would appeal to the 'in' crowd. Yup they watched it.
Funny thing was. Although they all watched it, no comment was ever made. No recommendations for suitable viewing were ever made again after either.
