Title: Downloading photos
Post by: lalilala on May 28, 2010, 22:47:45
Hi, how do I attach a phptp to my topic?

I think the easiest way is to use a host like tiny pics and put the forum code in the box with your post.

Copy and paste the code

so go to tiny pics, upload your pic, choose code for forums click it and copy, then paste into your message
:) Good luck.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I usually use this forums image gallery to download pics which is a real nuisance when you want to attach more then one, so I followed Betulas advice and just tried tiny pic.  Hopefully this will work:

This is hopefully my first courgette of the season.

Photobucket is just as good, indeed better for those of us stuck with Dialup. I cannot wait long enough for the larger image on Tinypics to come up, it is just too too slow.
There have been a few tutorials on site on how to use most of the picture hosting sites.
Of course you could always send Dan the money and store them on here.

Go to this website http://tinypic.com/?t=postupload.  Browse for your photo.  Type in a name for it in the tag box, go to the resize box and click on message board.  Click upload now.  A box will open for you to copy a code into then click upload.  When done  find the code for forums and copy and paste it into your message in here.

I have used Photo Bucket for a while and find it easy to use for the simple people amongst us.
Create your own albums and there is plenty of space to keep as many pictures as you want.

Tim,
If you click on the gallery icon just under and to the right of the banner at the top of the page, it will take you to the members(who pay for it) gallery, or click on their username when they make a post and click on their gallery. That's where all the random pictures on the right of the screen when you click on the home button come from.

Neil

I am a bit of a dumbo as far as computers are concerned, I still find sending Dan £10 a year the easiest way for me, it also helps the site.

LMAO!!!!!  You should come & have a look @ my neighbours plot lincsyokel2,  it has symetrical raised beds!!  puts the rest of the site 2 shame.  I dnt think they were to happy when i rolled up with a play house & slide to keep the twins occupied whist i dug!  They are getting older now though & Trinity helped my with the weeding today, until she got sidetracked by a worm.  I recon in two years time i'll be able to sit back & just give instructions to the twins!!
