Hi can anyone identify this shrub. Oh any tips on adding photo!!!
We can still do it cause we is clever, is it a green one?
What colour is the flower?
i love a challenge, how tall is it.
Come on people give me a hand. My first guess is a budlea as they appear from no where.
It has a woody base, with new shoots this year, Leaves are green with reddiish tinge to the edges. the flower buds are forming in the middle of a fan of leaves. I think they are going to be yellow. It had black berries last autum.
God this is so funny!! My OH is wondering why I am laughing so much and crying at the same time!! Its probably a blackberry.
Shiny, spiky leaves?
Noo, it is not a blackberry!!! It has paperish dull leaves,
Elderberry? XX Jeannine
I was thinking Mahonia. Now I'm thinking Garrya Elliptica.
ok I have just hunted again through my RHS encyclopedia. No luck. I will get back to you guys if I have any luck with some more searches. Thanks for youe efforst. Keep thinking! x
Hypericum, undoubtedly.
I'll go with small, Hypericum by the sound of it.
