well done Thrive and all involved.
And your post has reminded me to check out the Chelsea Flower show online!!
Well done to them. ;D
The Christmas collection we did for them seems such a long time ago now :) :)
Flighty, i saw the Thrive garden on the Chelsea flower show last night it was very nice indeed.
Congratulations to them all. ;D
Thank you all so much for your congratulations! We are thrilled with how Chelsea went for us - gold and best Urban garden, we couldn't have asked for more.
The reason why we entered a garden is to help promote the charity and to spread the word about what it is Thrive does. (more info can be found on www.thrive.org.uk).
The Unexpected Gardener garden is coming back to Thrive's HQ at Trunkwell Garden Project, Reading and will be open to the public on 18 and 25 July for the NGS open days. So if you weren't able to make it to the show - why not come along and take a look at an award winning garden.
Congratulations Thrive!
I have been looking at their website recently as one of our plotholders will soon be blind. He has only had his plot for four months and has transformed it from an overgrown mess into a plot that is so good that we are entering it in the 'Best newcomer's plot in Birmingham' competition.
He says that having an allotment has changed his life.
I've sent the link to Thrive to his wife.
