Title: Canada Geese - is this possible?
Post by: Squash64 on May 25, 2010, 06:14:55
The other morning we saw two Canada geese on the river in the park.  Nothing unusual in that - except that we counted over 24 goslings following them!
Surely they couldn't have been all from the two geese?  There were no other adults nearby.

That is a lot!

I wonder if they are anything like Ostriches? The dominant pair usually 'adopt' all the ostrichlings and can end up with loads of 'kids'.
