The Ohs really cannot be trusted ot go out on their own. ;D
When we go shopping, OH looks at the books and magazines, whilst I do the serious shopping. When we get to the checkout he does the packing, and has learned not to ask 'why are you buying this'. ;D ;D
Just so long as they are in vision, you can relax. ;D

Valmarg pray tell how you have achieved this wondrous state of affairs. We have been married almost 43 years & I am still asked why I am going down that particular isle in the supermarket ;D.
Looking forward to seeing a link to the newspaper when it is printed, Jeannine. I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised. ;D
;D..I hope he didn't tell reporter that 'all these plant are grown from the seeds that my wife hid in her bra when coming over from UK...' ;D ;D

We have been married for more or less the same number of years. We got married 1966.
When you go shopping, the last thing you need is a complaining spouse. The suggestion, why don't you look at the magazines, helps. ;D
I admit there are items that they need, so you ask if they wouldn't mind fetching them.
After that the question is 'wouldn't you rather go and sit in the car and listen to the radio?', usually works.

When in a supermarket I always send OH off to get some of the things on the list. Unfortunately he always comes back with more than he was sent for so the bill is always more when he is with me.

Well it came out, nothing to hide my face about, just two pictures from the lottie, John being onr of them with a caption that he was new,, His picture was him in a tartan shirt, jeans, drovers hat and using his new Mantis Tiller.
The bra thingy, now you kinow why I was scared, plus the smuggles 4 cubic foot box full in the shipping effects.
I will get a picture on, it was actually quite a nice one. XX Jeannine
Geat picture, Jeannine! :D
Loved the picture of John doing his stuff, have a great day Jeannine xx
phew ::)...that's relief!..at least nothing drastic...
Well he does look like a proper farmer...just a piece of grass dangling from this mouth is missing from that picture.. ;) ;D
Anyway...raised bed looks the job..I hope he is enjoying 'playing' with his new tool/toy.. ;D
Bless him. He is actually very chuffed, he has never had a picture in the paper before which is a shame really, he is always helping me with various charities, jobs etc but always stays in the shadows, bit corny really but he truly is " the wind beneath my wings". Super smashing man..my rainbow!!
I have to admit I was sad he didn't have his bright red braces on though.
Plot is all boxed now, he has done a great job and I think he is enjoying hiis toy..he is difficult to buy for though as he hates money spent on him so hasn't said too much about it yet.
