I want to sow some annuals in pots which have had spring bulbs in, but the leaves of the bulbs haven't died back yet. If I take them out of the pots now, do I need to store them in soil/compost until the leaves die back or can I dry them straight away?
Hi
The longer you can leave them growing the better the flowers will be next year.
At the moment i am feeding and watering all my flowered spring bulbs and treating them well , this means that they will be wonderful next year. So stick em in soil somewhere until they die back given em a good water and feed them if you can.
If you cant though it shouldnt kill the bulb it will just not be a strong as it was this year.
