Title: E Bay Plants
Post by: rosebud on May 21, 2010, 22:28:30
A newcomer on here suggested i try e bay to find the fuchsia, i was looking for , i did & they arrived on Wednesday via my daughter. 2 days after ordering them  they are in excellent condition quiet big as well.
I think i shall be using ebay for my plants in future.
5 good size plugs £3-50 + £2 P&P. I usually pay between £3-50 & £4-45.P&P from nursery, they have such a brilliant selection of Fuchsias.
Just thought i would share this with you worth a look.

Maybe we should get a thread going for recommendations of sellers on ebay, there are some great companies/sellers on there plus some complete rogues.....

I purchased  25 pyracantha 100cm in pots a few weeks ago. Only 6 of them were just on 100cm - the rest between 75cm and 90cm. When I complained that I had paid for 100cm plants I was told they had run out of the larger plants and that they would put on good new growth this year anyway! The email I received was cynical in the extreme telling me I would have paid more at a garden centre so what was my beef! I was told if I wasn't satisfied I could return them, but after paying £32.50 delivery that really wasn't an option.

I've just checked and the same nursery is selling 80cm plants at the same price I paid for the 100cm pots. They are in Billericay, Essex.
