Popped in to our local G/C today to get some netting and they had large pots of Asparagus with really good growth readuced by 50%... Purchased four tubs most have three crowns :D
Some of the crowns are really long and I have supported them with sticks and string to support them until I can get a bed built, but was thinking about a large builders bath thats sitting in the shed that was used for the goldfish when we moved the pond, and wondered if i could purhaps use it as a bed for the asparagus semi sunken.

Was thinking I could drill some holes in it for drainage and then fill it and transplant the potted asparagus??
