Title: What's nibbling my Broadbeans
Post by: newspud9 on May 21, 2010, 21:16:35
What with the recent frost attack on the spuds, at least i had my broadbeans looking healthy...but just back from the plot and serious signs of niblling along the leaf edge.  Plants are only 4-6 inches high.  I havent covered them with anything and not too sure what's doing it or how to prevent it getting worse.  Grateful for thoughts on what I might be able to do.

Bean weevil

Just nibble the edges of the leaves into a doilly shape and then go!  If only all pests where so polite!

Your beans will be fine but watch out for black fly :o :o
