Title: And you thought the EU loved controlling things.
Post by: greenfists on May 16, 2010, 13:04:10
A law has been passed in the US by a congresswoman who's husband just happens to work for Monsanto.
Basically it means if you are a food producer of ANY size you will need to register.
So in the US if you were on a lottie and you had a bit of a sale of plants you would have to register.
This blog deals with it, I just thought that it was interesting.

It's a bill, not a law (yet) but still worrying.

Actually I'd be surprised if you weren't breaking half a dozen rules and regulations already if you sold your home-grown produce.
