Does anyone have a small cutting of this lavender. Will happily pay P+P. Many thanks. Rosie
Will happily swap something, but don't have much that is particularly exciting or unusual in my garden
Hi Rosy....angustifolia is very large group of lavenders and most commonly available...did you have any particular cultivar in mind?..as there is dozens and dozens of different kind for different situations..colours..heights..spreads..etc..
Hi Goodlife, thank you for answering. The type I am interested in is a large bush type that grows up to 3-4 ft or more. All the cultivars I have seen so far are quite dwarf in habit. All our local garden centres have told me that is the one to go for but none of them have it in stock.
I'm afraid I cannot help you with cutting as I not longer grow the larger ones..room issue ::), but have a look..http://www.downderry-nursery.co.uk (http://www.downderry-nursery.co.uk)... I know they do few larger ones..
In mean while I keep my eyes open...there might be one close by for a cutting..or two ;)
Will do ... thank you very much :-*
Hi Rosy..have you managed to find one yet?...as I have a supply for angustifolia cuttings...the species one.. not any of the cultivals..It will grow about 80cm tall...any use?....PM me if you still need some?
Newbie1963...I've noticed that you are regularly asking freebies without really contributing for any conversations or offering something for swap yourself.
This transaction was between Rosy and me and was not offered others..
I'm sorry to hear you lost your lavenders over winter but these are totally different from what you lost and not considered as replacement..monsters of the lavender world..
For my opinion you should not carry on asking freebies if you are not going to take part of the 'community'...
And as answer for your question...no, I do not have any cuttings anymore...
