hi there have just took on a new plot getting cleared rather well have managed to get spuds in a few peas a bit of sweet corn an some onoins have been given some broad beans was wondering am i to late for them an wanted to put some parsnip in any ideas please

Broad beans can be planted through to the end of May.  March is the usual time to sow parsnips so it's really too late for them.

I'm sowing some more next week, trying for some later ones , sorry, not broadies, I'm putting more parsnips in :)

All my books say mid Feb to mid April!
In that case I might sow some myself Grots! What variety do you grow?

Beans and parsnips should be OK. Don't delay with the parsnips, they need a long growing season. It's a waste of time planting them before the soil warms up, but they should be OK now.
