Title: Bloody frost
Post by: lincsyokel2 on May 14, 2010, 15:14:53
has had a good bite at my tates. Its worse at one end of the bed then the other, some plants  have no leaves  that arent black and curled at the edges, the other end some plants or only about 50% blackened leaves

Is it worth leaving them in? Will they come back? Its too late to plant anymore.........

They should recover fine, I have never known frost to kill a potato plant yet.

It's only knocked off the topgrowth. Spuds are really hard to kill, so they'll soon be back!

Thank god for that, my charlottes have lost all of their foilage, the main crops seem to be a bit hardier
