I have decided that I dislike intensely adverts.
Often, a new one is amusing but when it is repeated every few minutes. It gets to the point where it irritates and gets me saying I wont buy that produt ever again.
That Michael Winner advert was one.
Do they annoy any one else?
Mind you the interval can sometimes be handy as a Pee and Tea break.
yes the adverts are very annoying,same ones over and over again
plus they are very bland these days,compared to the nineties atleast
I hate it when they show ads for the programme you are watching, especially when i'm trying to fast forward through the breaks after recording.

If I got that 'Go Compare' bloke near me, I think I would kick him up the b.m. It is so, so irritating. Actually I would do worse, but can't write it on here.
I must admit adverts do get on your wick a bit but you must admit it musr have taken ages to train those meercats. I reckon it was the guy who trained that gorilla to play the drums.

I agree, however I do have a fave or two, like the maltesers one where she swaps her mates jeans for the doll ones, I near peed myself on that one.
The most annying one is the double glazing ad which shouts out that if you buy one you can get one free.
In that case your product is over priced.
Now shuddap whilst I engage a company who expect fair payment for a fairdays work. Do a decent job and leave me feeling I have had value as well as confident that the work has been done to the best possible standard.
Does any one know who the company is who can offer that?

Twenty five years ago I used to work for Anglian windows as a sales rep and their products are very good but very expensive.
Since moving to the Salisbury area ten years ago we have found a very good company called Cara Glass. They are not only reasonably priced, their products are excellent and if anything goes wrong they come out and fix it straight away. It is a family run business that has been going for many years.
Back to the subject of adverts, I prefer the BBC news rather than Sky as I hate interruptions to my viewing.
I detest the Michael Winner adverts and that awful man in the Go Compare adverts. My favourites are still the meerkat ones. ;D ;D
