Hello - I know a few people on here have grown these before, I'm trying them for the first time this year. Are they bush or trailing type?
How much room do you give them?
Searched online and everyone seems to be using the same text from Franchi seeds or the RHS!
I think there are both bush and trailing forms of rugosa.....plant it 3 feet apart and put a stake in just in case ... if it sets off in a straight line somewhere tie it in and plant stuff between it, otherwise treat as a bush?

I am guessing but nevertheless fairly certain it is a bush, most courgettes and other forms of summer squash are but apart from that, it is a summer squash identical to one I grow regularly, right down to the description apart from the geographical area.I think I might have a picture. It has a less watery flesh than courgettes so I find it much nicer.
Shown here is the Crookneck version, it also comes in a sraight neck version. Both are bush and I am pretty confident your one is too .

Thanks - that's useful. Helps me know where to put it!
