Title: Polycarbonate green house.
Post by: grannyjanny on May 08, 2010, 14:17:31
My friend has her Rion greenhouse up now. She has a 3 pots with strawberries in them & that's it for now. We went in it on Thursday afternoon, late on & there was a lot of condensation in there. Is this usual, I thought it could cause disease. My daughter is looking at getting one so would like to know please.

shouldn't really get condensation unless the window is shut, most of the greenhouses down our allotments leave their windows open all the time now, i know it gets a bit cold at night but should do no harm to plants now

Automatic vents some times need adjusting, it may have been sent out on a locked thread. if there is a manual have a read.

i have had 2 of my 6 vents wide open for the last 4 weeks on my tunnel day & night.
i think it is important to get the air circulating especially in the daytime.
