Title: Mummy peas, how hardy
Post by: manicscousers on May 08, 2010, 08:34:56
I've been given some of these, they have grown well but are quite tall, I can harden them off, would they be ok now, my kelvedon wonder, etc are doing fine outside but the colossol peas I bought are looking a bit ragged, thanks for any advice   :)

I don't think they're any different to any other pea.

I agree, once they have germinated all peas are sufficiently hardy... in the UK to grow from March onwards.... the only problem is if you start them off warm they may not take well to being hardened off...  a wrap of fleeece for a week may do it...  :-\
