looks good. your allotment set up is amazing, will definitely be coming for a nose around. maybe someone will have some Cherokee beans Ive just killed mine!
Shall we be able to take a tour again this year, Deb?
Technically tours are on Sunday 6th June aand first Sunday in Sept., when we open for NGS and charge £3... but I'm around and not occupied if you want a look round...
I've got plenty of Cherokee, Fi, but not in a planted form!
:)
More plants like beans and corn will be available on the 6th of June...
Good Luck,, sorry I can't come XX Jeannine
Bumping this up for tomorrow, I've been down today grouping stuff together and pricing, there are a lot of good bargains! Hope some of you can make it (bit far for Jeannine to pop over though!) :o ;D
Again wish I were a bit closer, but Good luck for tomorrow, I hope it all goes well :)
Just been finishing off the signs for tomorrow, all set now we hope! ;D
The sun shone and we had a really good turnout, saw the Manics ( ;D) and sold a lot of tomatoes, almost £200 worth! Overall takings were around the £500 mark so a good day! ;D ;D ;D
excellent result, glad the sun shone ;D
Excellent Deb.... How many toms did you sell? Was I right to think they went better for being earlier in the season? :)
The amount of stuff we sold made it was a really worthwhile endeavor.......... bedding and perennial plants sold well, there are some of the heritage toms left; cherry, purple and striped varieties were the most popular this time, I shall have to remember that for the future......(what am I saying!) ::)
I'm glad you all had a great day. ;D ;D ;D
Is the NGS Open Day going to happen, Deb?
If so I`ll be popping down the A52 again.
Hope it`s not as wet as last year though. :(
Our first Open Day of the year under the NGS scheme is next Sunday, 6th June. I'll put a separate post to remind folks, and yes, the famous samosas will be on sale again! ;D
sorry, can't be there, hope you get lots of visitors...the toms are doing well, btw..thank you :)
