Title: Strawberry plants in raised beds
Post by: Corribee on April 29, 2010, 21:48:19
Any tips on growing strawberry plants in raised borders.  I plan to stick slug barrier tape on top on the wooden sides.  Use garden soil and multi purpose soil to build up the level.

All my strawberries are grown in raised beds except for this years experiment in growing them in a raised platform.

Slugs do not like anything rough and scratchy, some people save egg shells and scrunch them to put round the plants

Just put a net over them to keep off the birds.
