Title: Freezing Rhubarb
Post by: springbok on April 28, 2010, 16:28:27
I want to store my Rhubarb in the freezer.

Do I have to cook it first?

Also I have been told to roll raw Rhubarb in sugar before freezing!

I would really like to know the correct way, if anyone has any advice :)

we just wash the stalks, cut into 1 inch pieces and store them in large ice cream containers in the freezer.

Here are several methods ...

Same here.  No cooking or sugar.  Straight in the freezer bag once the skin is peeled off.
