I grow them every year and they grow perfectly.Infact I have just pricked out 24 plants into cells this morning ready for planting out when they are a bit bigger.

I grow them as well, easy as any other lettuce - but do tend to mature close together and they definitiely do not like the heat in summer, so i grow them in a shady spot. I only sow 1/2 doz of any variety at any one time so I can mix the flavours.

The Iceberg I like because I can get big leaves and use these to wrap burgers in instead of bread when we have a bbq. WeightWatchers tips last a lifetime it seems - unless its anything to do with chok-lit. ::)

I am growing 'mini iceberg' from T&M this season for a try. Am hoping that way we can eat a whole lettuce a day and use them quicker. I also like 'little gem' for this purpose.
