Title: Blueberries Blackberries and Gooseberries in Poundland
Post by: GlentoranMark on April 16, 2010, 17:18:28
Not sure if there's any other varieties. Seem decent enough quality and the turnover in Poundland means the stock hasn't been sitting on the shelf for months. I'll see if I can take a photo to show the size and quality (my phone camera's been playing up).

I got a Tayberry - or was it a Loganberry? - from my local Poundland this week. Got whichever the other one was from QD another local discount shop but had to pay £1.99 for that. Both planted out - doesn't really matter if they don't succeed, just worth a try. The Tayberry had really not started to root properly but was showing a new shoot. Loganberry looks very happy.Fingers crossed.

I bought the Tayberry and Blueberry last year. They're covered in buds and looking good. I did buy another one that has also over wintered, but for the life of me I cant recall what its called.
