1.75 for 40litres- half usual price. Anyone know whether it's any good?
Can't be any worse than J A Bowers (bits of wood, plastic and other non compost ingredients). I was so disgusted with it I went to B&Q and bought theirs which was much better. £3.50 for 80ltrs is a very good price buy a bag to check it out (I was in two minds today, whether to buy the pallet full).
Is that this years JAB Larkshall if so I'm glad I kept the receipt. I took some back last year but thought the problem had been sorted.
Will get some this morning (if any left) and let you know!

Yes, I bought 3 bags about 3 weeks ago. Of course, it could be old stock.
Got two bags- so much easier to handle in 40L bags than 60 or 70. It looks ok, quite fibrous but no huge lumps of wood etc. Should be ok as a mulit-purpose (not peat-free of course. :-[)
The JAB I bought 3 yrs ago was rubbish so I have stopped buying it now use Wickes 4x70lt bags for £12
