Title: Tomato plants
Post by: Jayb on April 14, 2010, 09:03:03
I've started lots of different varieties of tomatoes this year and have way too many. I haven't got the heart to bin them so would anyone like some tomato plants, they are sort of3-4'' plug size. I'm thinking these could be posted ok (or collected if anyone is localish). If you can send me the postage cost back that would be much appreciated as I can't really afford the postage otherwise. Only one of each;

Achmiadsin
Amber
Berkeley Tie Die
Black Crimea
Cherokee Purple
Golden Queen
Japanese Black Trifele
Latah
Livingstone Beauty
Orange Flesh  Purple Smudge
Pipo
Plum Lemon
Purple Ukraine
Roughwood Golden tiger
Rozavgi Flamingo
Soldacki
Yellow Furry Hog
Zogola

Also I have some bigger ones in pots, but I think these would need to be collected from Swansea/ish area, all different varieties from those above.

Steadius, I was offering plants not seeds and the Japanese BT have already gone to a good home. I've only a few seeds left which I want to hang onto just in case, but I hope to have some saved seed later in the year if that is any use to you. Oh and welcome to the Forum, look forward to getting to know you better  :)

Hi Goodlife, I should have those available, I'll give a pm in the morning after I've checked.

Neil, I've already re homed a lot with a few more going to goodlife, I probably have about 6ish left, I can let you know tomorrow. They are not very big and top of my head postage would be under £2.

Obviously it goes without saying I will cover the postage.

Yes Freecycle is a good idea, though I'm a bit of the beaten track. I've pretty much sorted it now, I have some of the bigger spares ready for a charity sale next week  :)

It would be nice to see you adding something to this forum other than just asking for freebies or swaps.

Neil, more likely my writting, the first 2 are correct, then it should be Rozovyi Flamingo, translates as Pink flamingo
Try this link although I think the history given here may need a pinch of salt.
https://www.sustainableseedco.com/pink-flamingo-tomato-seeds.html
The last 2 are Brown Berry and King George from HSL.
