Aquilegia
I have been going over some old photos the last few days to try and get them organised and maybe get some made up into calanders for Christmas present and I came across this one you might like to see:

This one was grown from seed my father gave me a number of years ago, no idea on variety.

Ooh look - a photo just for me. And I can't see it right now. I'll keep trying because I've gone all excited about this! ;D
Thanks Jerry.
And what an excellent idea of calendars...
I can see her now. She's a pink beauty! (and I don't normally like pink!) I have no idea what variety that is, I'm afraid.
Glad you can see it now. It is probably a cross as both my father and myself grow a number of varieties and they self seed all over the place. They also change colour from year to year indicating crossing. I think the main colours are whites and pale creams.
A few pinks and darker reds/purples are creeping in now.

I know this was for Aquilegia but I just had to have a peek, and....... WOW! That is a gorgeous aquilegia! I'm trying green flowering ones this year and I hope they flower!
A wonderful photograph, you have a good eye! It is such a shocking pink colour, and with the sun shining through the leaves, to see all the veins is gorgeous.
