Any of you folks tried these? Thinking good for avoiding wireworm

I have not but a friend in the next garden does and with fair results, he digs a trench about half the depth of the bag soil put the bag into the trench what he has dug out into the bottom for the spud to rest on then manure on top then topped off will soil.

I only grow potatoes in my garden in the exhibition polypots.
I find it works great and you get perfect looking potatoes. I would use general purpose compost and instead of soil.
