No it is the right time. I layered dozens of runners last year and have been selling them in the allotment shop to raise funds for the society for the past 3-4 weeks.

I have built a stand this year with 3 growbags and 12 plants.

I thought that they should be planted late summer/early autumn!

Anyone seen any shops/garden centres selling Gariguette? I'd quite like to try them but I'm not paying mailorder prices!

Cheers.

I have just planted a whole new stock of strawberries and they have taken off like mad. The old ones are just getting their growth on, so it's not too early. But you can plant in autumn too.
