Title: JIMS NOT GOING GREEN
Post by: jimtheworzel on April 04, 2010, 20:15:35
Having £2,000 burning a hole in your pocket opens up a huge number of options for the used car buyer. Do you play it safe or opt for something ostentatious? What about fuel economy and running costs; and will it break down? There's a lot to consider

Between the devil and the deep blue sea on that budget Jim.

Note the things you need in a car. Boot size. two doors or four. Sun roof. Leg room or width. If you or your main passenger are wide, some small cars might be too squashed. Asking the passenger to move their right arm every time you need to change gear can be annoying... Do you need a hatch back which will allow you to put down the back seats and turn it into a van from time to time?

Do you need to tow a trailer?

If you make the list of things YOU want from a car as well as economy, you will gradually reduce the alternatives.
