This year I want to have lots and lots of these happy face flowers around in my garden . All my seedlings in the greenhouse are at the two true leaf stage now .        When can I plant them out please ?     Debs

Not just yet if you have grown them under glass. I grow sunflowers each year and i too start them off under glass, multi-sown in pots then split and put into individual pots to grow on.

Keep them well watered and growing well then when the weather warms up start hardening them off (2-3 weeks at least at this rate!) ready for planting out sometime in early may.

Hope this helps.

sowed 8 and mine are two weeks old and are doing well, but wont be going out for a while yet.

il sow some more next week, then more 3 weeks later and so on

il plant them out in stages oldest first shortley followed by the youngsters, in clusters so they are heading for the clouds at different growth heights

should look nice
