Wow! The names of those veg sound great, don't they?

How many windowsills have you got?!! ;D

Also you have understanding family. My OH groans when I say 'can you just keep an eye on the kids while I go to the shed for half an hour'

He's right though, it's never really just half an hour!

My window sill is now looking chockablock and I even have pots on top of the piano!
I already had aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, leeks and cabbages going,  and this weekend I added some herbs, flowers, brussel sprouts, cauliflowers round 2, more toms and spring onions  ;D  and I am nowhere near starting the courgettes, sweetcorn and pumpkins!!!

Oh for the space, the curse of a house with no sunny windowsills holds me back each season.

I've tried to keep my sowing outdoor due to lack of viable windowsills.    So far have sown into pots: french sorrel, mixed lettuces, leeks, red spring onions & parmex carrots. Direct: PSB, spring cabbage, beetroot (two types, seed is a bit old so fingers crossed) radish and two lots of broadies.  I have a feeling the first lot of broadies were sown too early as I haven't seen hide nor hair nor soil disturbance and it's 4 weeks later.  Do I assume they're dead & re-sow over the same area?

The only windowsill sowings are 4 pots of artichoke seeds. Fingers crossed on those too.  Infact, fingers crossed on everything...
