Well, off to France again on Monday, last time I was there I bought some St. Peire Tom seeds (doing well) and Cornichon seeds (doing OK).
Has anyone bought seeds in France or can recommend what to buy this trip, cannot go anywhere without bringing seeds back (have a bit of an addiction)
OH thinks I need help
It sounds daft, but we always buy French Beans! (or haricots if you prefer).
We've never bothered with any specific variety but it just feels good saying that our French Beans are authentic!
Bon voyages
Seeds bought abroad do not count in addiction terms. We too get the nets of french beans- good germination, look at the markets for plants usually brilliant for leeks but I think you may a bit early for that. Be warned I bought seeds at the nursery often next to the supermarket , then went into the supermarket ,the seeds set of the alarms amazing what french I remembered as the rather unpleasant cashier insisted on going through my handbag, no apology either.
If in Paris try the Flower Market on " Ile de Cite". Loads of Veg., seeds and and Plants[
I buy quite a few seeds from Nice, usually Les Doigts Vert (Green Fingers)
I did a posting recently. They have an interesting range and it is worth looking at their website.

a friend brought me some white carrot seeds back, just sowed some, not sure of the name, they're at the plot ;D
Thank you for all your suggestions I will have fun I'm sure finding more seeds,I brought beans back last year and they were fantastic.
Will let you know when I get back
I always look for different seeds when I'm in France... :)
Someone gave me some Dwarf bean Aiguillon seeds which they bought in France They did very well, and there seemed to be lots in the packet. You can get them here, but they did not do as well.
