Title: Grrr there are some I could do without :(

I ventured out into the garden today to feed the birds and have a little look around and lo and behold there was a Lily beetle on one of my Narcissi leaves.   >:(  I'm sorry to say I had to squish it - but how come they are around so early?

I love beetles, even the Rosemary ones which made a right mess of my Sage last year, but I have to draw the line at Lily beetles I'm afraid as there are no natural predators and I'm rather partial to my Lilies too.
