Title: Mystery parcel
Post by: caroline7758 on March 22, 2010, 18:34:28
I received a parcel from Unwins/Marshalls today and when I opened it I found 3 potato gro-sacks, 3 smallpacks of spuds and some potato fertiliser. I knowI haven't paid for these- can someone remind me, was there a freebie offer I've forgotten about? Don't want to ring Unwins in case they want them back!

Sounds like you were a runner up in this competition.

QuoteThis month, one F&F reader will win £50 of vouchers from Unwins, and five runners up will win a potato growing kit. Hoorah! Think of all the marvellous seeds, plants and equipment you could buy with those vouchers. Think of the fabulous vegetables you could grow for the first, for free, in your veg patch. Think of banks of sweet peas, baskets full of freshly picked blueberries and raspberries, and happy, pest-free organic veg. I told you I was excited.

The potato growing kits come with: 3 potato grow bags, 5 ‘Charlotte’ tubers, 5 ‘Swift’ tubers, 5 ‘Maris Peer’ tubers, and organic potato feed.

Ah, now it all comes flooding back! Well, lucky me! That's the second time I've won something through a thread on A4A- thanks!
