Title: Yippee - first frogspawn!
Post by: gwynleg on March 21, 2010, 21:24:43
I put a pond on my allotment the year before last. No frogs appeared, so last year a neighbour gave me some frogspawn - it seemed to disappear then so did the tadpoles they gave me. But today found loads of frogspawn in the pond.
Am so excited!

As long as it's in the water it'll be OK. Frogs like shallow water, to the point where I've known them lay in puddles in preference to the pond ten feet away.
