Spits out throat lozenge.... I've just looked at that site.... so four broad bean seedlings 4" tall would be 4.95 plus 4.95 postage?.... They're Stereo for pity's sake.... I could grow those when I was five, they germinated before the radish I sowed...... please, someone tell me it's an elaborate joke?

It's extraordinary, isn't it?

No wonder her husband Adam Nicholson once referred to her visiting students and clients as "cheques on wheels". I live nearby, and have visited occasionally to choose and collect unusual seeds.

Not as bad as the Duchy of Cornwall nursery: one small camellia £8.50, p&p £10.00.  Needless to say, I didn't proceed with the order!
