Title: butterflies
Post by: Kea on March 18, 2010, 14:56:03
Saw two butterflies today within 30 mins one was sulphur yellow possibly a brimstone and the other was black with some white spots near the wing tip but I didn't get a good look. Amazing what a bit of heat and sunshine does.

no butterflies yet, but I saw two bumblebees here in Norwich: one buzzing round the eaves of a local pub, the other feeding on rosemary in the garden this morning.

lovely, isn't it?!?

Yes I have had bumblebee's too, accidently exposed a sleeping one yesterday. My allotment is covered in ladybirds but I'm not going to complain about that.

Yes must be about the same latitude approximately.

Don't want those nasty cabbage whites to arrive though!!!
