Title: can i use thicker rolls?
Post by: mummybunny on March 17, 2010, 09:56:15
for my parsnips?

I have been given a sack full off toilet roll sized but thicker cardboard rolls. Probably about 3 times the thickness of toilet rolls. Could i use these do you think they will rot down OK?

Thanks Lucy. x

Everything organic rots down eventually, its just a case of how long  you want to wait.

They may  last longer than standard toilet rolls, i find they are disintegrated and dead by the time the last  leeks are pulled
