Title: water butt

can anyone advise please on obtaining a large water butt for my plot

without going to the local diy shop and buying one, id like to get a simple barrell type so i can
just dip the watering can in ....cheap as chips is the idea....but where can i get one from ??

If youve any factories near you that process food they might give away those big blue barrels that stuff like spices comes in. Or maybe a chemical factory but youd need to know what was in the barrel wasnt harmful. They cut the tops off them so theyre good for dipping.

I did the above but then went looking on ebay as well and there are plenty of water barrels or plastic storage on there that will be suitable.  I collected 3 160l drums for £10, bargain I thought

I can get them for free from work..Im in Derby
