I'm growing Crystal lemon and green fingers this year both new to me and planning on growing in a cold greenhouse. I grew marketmore last year in the garden they did well but wanted to try something different  ;D Harry is still mad on cucumber so he's going to be helping me with them this year. Someone recommended green fingers as lunch box size and harry is very excited at the idea. He does however think I'm mad because i told him the crystal lemon were round like apples  :P

I looked for crystal lemon seeds at Wyvale's end of season sale last year, but they didn't have any....so..I'm doing my usual tried-and-true Marketmore & Burpless Tasty, but my new addition is a gherkin (haven't got the packet to hand so don't know its name). Hoping for great things from that....anyone grow it & had good results?

I have Crystal apple, Zeina (f1) and Boothby's Blonde (one of my HSL choices) and also some saved seeds from Lemon Cue.  Why do I grow cucumbers I hate the things?  I do have two daughters who are addicted, though one will not each anything odd, that includes anything prickly.

I'm growing Vlaspik.
My neighbour brought me a packet of seeds from Barbados.  I've grown them before and they were very nice.  Not a long cuke, but more like a gherkin.
They do well outdoors.

It's a good outdoor cucumber; I'll be growing it myself.
