Briwax do a 'Clear'  beeswax/carnuaba which I've always found to be good.

They also list a clear natural creamed beeswax which I haven't used.

see   http://www.briwax.co.uk/products/briwax.html

Test in inconspicuous  etc etc

Hi.

I always use Briwax but on pine, it may be worth an e-mail to check it is ok on beech, I nearly posted a link last night but I wasn't sure if it was only used on pine.  I also use the creamed beeswax as a weekly polish, I love the smell. :)

Before using anything on your table check it out, it may have been pre-treated with a catalictic laquer of some sort. So you would not only be wasting your time in using the beeswax, but your pennies as well.
As you would only be adding it as an extra surface on top of the laquer, which in time could become a complete and utter sticky mess.
On many an occassion I've had to go and de-wax peoples treasured tables ect,
because they have done so.
Its quite a time consuming buisness to remove the wax, hours of rubbing down with wire wool and meths, and not always 100% successful.
If it is virgin wood, then Okay, the waxes as mentioned above would be fine.
Hope that helps you out.....cheers...
