:)May I make a plea on behalf of the communicatively disadvantaged, ie those for whom Broadband is an as yet unfulfillable dream? This morning on my oh so slow Narrowband connection and on my oh so slow machine, it took nearly 20 minutes to wait for a beautiful photograph to appear on my screen. If posters could just reduce the size of the pictures, it would reduce the time we poor souls have to wait before we can ooh and aah at their artistry.
This posting is not meant to be an unpleasant criticism of anyone or any posting, so please do not be upset.
Ta ::)
Sorry Eric, I am afraid I am one of the wrong doers. How can I reduce my photos? I have tried various resizing and cropping methods, but I am obviously doing something wrong when the pics still come out too big. No offense caused, I can completely understand your position, and everyone elses who hasn't broadband. :-[ busy_lizzie
I know what you mean Eric it's like watching paint dry, here's a good image reducer "HP Photo" that was recommended when I put out a plea and it is very easy to use but you must register first try this link...

Tis me I fear. I promise to resize from now on. :-\
I try to keep them within 300 thingies.
But I have to say that the big ones are stunning! = Tim
I always try to reduce them in HP Photo manager first, (to about 500x300 - is that small enough?), before uploading into Photobucket and posting on here.
Hmmm, I may be one of the culprets, hope it was not my recent thread, November in the Garden, as I included about 8 or 9 pictures, resized down to 400 by whatever.
I may in future include in the title how many photos I am putting up if that will help.
