Hi

We always use this website when looking for places to stay as it has an advance search option like Dog friendly and has plenty of reviews good and bad on lots of campsites. so you will know what to expect whats close by etc. plus will give you the links to the relevant campsites if you want to book or get anymore info.

Mid-July's gonna be expensive so perhaps this might not fit the bill for that time of year - dunno - but we've used it loads & taken a staffie with us. Accomm is in log cabins. They do deals of 4 nights for the price of 2  or 4 nights for the price of 3 - depending on the time of year. It's in Snowdonia - you can read & download a prospectus here:

I don't know about all the individual sites in Gower, but as an area it is very beautiful peninsular. The coastline is fantastic ranging from steep cliffs to miles of sandy beach. Nowhere is very far from a beach, there is plenty of wildlfe and superb walks. Its got cliffs, marshes, large commons with wild ponies sheep and cattle grazing etc. Some of the local pubs allow well behaved dogs, so you can get a meal while out walking!
