Hi Angleshades, a tom can be a beefsteak and a dwarf plant, beefsteak simply describes the fruit which can be  on a dwarf plant , we are more used to finding beefsteak types on tall indeterminate plants but there are many that are not.

Just a thought, for others reading if they are looking for something similar.. New Big Dwarf is a super tom that grows 1lb pink/red beefsteaks on a 2 foot tall plant.Going in my plot again this year.

Oh and  another  bit of  trivia info, Tatianas tomatoes which is often quoted on this site is just 2-3 miles from me, might be interesting, I would love to see her set up.

Have fun

Hi, I am going to phone and ask if I may come over and if I do I will get you pictures I promise, she might get a kick out of knowing she is quoted in the UK. I actually do want some of the stuff she has so may be able to go and collect it. I am going do do a drive by reccy anyway.

Tatiana`s webside is also quoted in the netherlands i suppose all over the world. You can also order seeds, not only tomatoes.I also gave here some seeds ,because she is a true protector of the heirloom spirit.I think she got the biggest seedcollection of the world.
