Title: BT HUB
Post by: pntalbot on February 11, 2010, 19:23:13
My  friend says his BT Hub Internet Speed is less than 1mg and he lives 3 miles from Exchange, sounds to me he is a border line case, for getting  the Internet.
What  code do we put in address bar to see his BT Hub Stats-- plus username & password.  ( I have Sky and I  put in 192.168.0.1--username = admin  and  password = sky.)

Hi,
I don't know the answer as I don't have a BT hub, the the normally the IP is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
If both those don't work, have a look and see what the IP of your computer, and use that but change the last digit to 1

Username is nearly always 'admin'
password is normally 'admin', 'pass', 'password', or it may be the serial number of the hub, but that all assumes it has not been changed.

You can login to the hub by typing http://bthomehub.home  or 192.168.1.254
Default username is admin, default password is admin on older units or the serial number on newer ones.
