is it overpriced?
Is there anything I should be looking out for, with regards to preventing pests and infestations?

You might have to get a specially trained midget to place the feeders under the house.
Apart from that would you be able to bury some chicken wire under the sides of the run to stop foxy/rat from digging in.
I like it-I know nothing and am reading like crazy and following old chooky related threads on here to gen myself up. Found these on Ebay-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280456895436&ru=http://search.ebay.co.uk:80/280456895436_W0QQadgroup_idZrawQQfclZ4QQfnuZ1QQfsopZ1QQkeywordZchickenQ20coopQQoriginZhttpQ3aQ2fQ2fallotments4allQ2ecoQ2eukQQtestZGadgetQ5fKWQQfviZ1
(God, that's a long link!!)
Good point about the run needing buried wire!
Have you looked at downthelane.com?
good site for chicken indfo ;D
sorry http://www.downthelane.net/Page_7.php
Yes, I plan to get OH to dig down a foot to bury the wire so it doesn't have to lay flat around the edge and make mowing a pain! Is there anything I should be avoiding, like felt roofs? Will have a look at your link, thanks manics.
Well over priced in my opinion, have a look on ebay item number 290385316524
this is the coop i have and its brilliant
Definitely avoid felt roofs, red mites will get under the felt and it'll all have to come off. The less cracks and joints the house has the better as they get everywhere, as I found out this year.

wowee, that's more like it! Good price and it looks enormous!! Good quality? is it lasting well? How long have you had it? :)
Had it for 6 months now its brilliant, the house itself is big enough for 8 hens easily but the run is only big enough for 4 hens which is what I've got, remember you have to put food and water in there aswell. I let mine out of the run every night for an hour and for a good 4-5 hours on saturdays and sundays when im down at the allotment. I made a frame from 4x4" posts for it to sit on and boarded the bottom so nothing can dig their way in and get the chickens or the food then ive filled it with wood chippings for them to scratch about in.
