Growing in a friend's greenhouse, one of his vanilla plants today.

Does he get a crop from it? That stuff is expensive!! Did he grow it from seed? Sounds like a good project.

For anyone looking for affordable Vanilla of an infinitely better quality than those overdried, overpriced Shwartz ones, try here...

The Grower is a good friend, Laid-Back-Dave. He's got two varieties of vanilla growing in his orchid house, the one shown and also a varigated variety. He's hoping to get a crop this year, or next (we are all looking forward to this) He grows many rare plants, mostly orchids,  (some from micro-prop) ;)
